This 1984 Young Chang G-185 is a beautiful 6'1" grand piano that combines traditional piano craftsmanship, expressive musical qualities, and exceptional value.
At just over six feet in length, the G-185 offers the musical advantages of a larger grand piano, including a fuller bass, greater tonal depth, and an expansive range of expression. Its generous proportions allow the instrument to produce a rich, resonant sound that can fill a room while maintaining the sensitivity needed for delicate, intimate passages.
Whether you enjoy classical masterpieces, romantic piano literature, jazz, or contemporary music, the Young Chang G-185 offers the expressive capabilities that make playing a grand piano such a rewarding experience.
Founded in South Korea in 1956, Young Chang grew to become one of the world's major piano manufacturers, earning international recognition for producing well-crafted instruments at accessible prices.
Young Chang developed its reputation by combining traditional piano-building techniques with modern manufacturing technology. Its grand pianos have been appreciated by music teachers, students, and experienced pianists seeking dependable instruments with satisfying musical performance.
The G-185 represents an appealing balance between a compact home grand and a larger performance instrument. Its 6'1" length provides the longer strings and larger soundboard associated with a more substantial grand piano, giving musicians greater tonal richness and dynamic possibilities.
There is something especially rewarding about sitting down at a six-foot grand piano. The depth of the bass, the singing quality of the treble, and the responsiveness of the grand piano action invite the player to explore every nuance of the music.
Beyond its musical qualities, this Young Chang G-185 brings the timeless elegance of a traditional grand piano into your home. It can become the centerpiece of a music room, a source of inspiration for a developing pianist, or a treasured instrument for an experienced musician.
Offered at just $9,995, compared with an original retail price of $28,995, this Young Chang G-185 represents an excellent opportunity to own a generously sized grand piano at an attractive price.
