The Steinway M: Nothing Medium About It
At 5'7" (170 cm) in length, Steinway calls this model the "Medium" grand, but there is nothing medium about its sound. The Model M was introduced by Steinway in 1911 and was not brought to the Hamburg factory until 1926, making a 1928 Hamburg-built example a very early and especially prized production from that factory.
